Notifications

Viva Engage notifications help you stay connected and informed about announcements, virtual events, and discussions that include you or are relevant to you. You can receive Viva Engage notifications in Outlook, Microsoft Teams, your mobile device, or directly in the Viva Engage desktop, browser or mobile experiences.

Adjusting your notification settings is easy and can ensure that you only see the conversations that matter. You can select which notifications you would like to receive for each community. For instructions, see Manage Viva Engage notifications.

Community announcements

A Viva Engage announcement is any message type that a community administrator can send to all community members. It has special emphasis within the feed and generates a notification for all community members. 

Storyline announcements

Storyline announcements are a way for leaders to share important information with people in their audiences, their followers, and everyone in the organization. Follow leaders in your company to stay current with their storyline announcements. 

Even if you don't have storyline, you'll receive notifications of leadership posts in Microsoft Teams, email, and Viva Engage.

Digests

Premium Viva Engage users can stay informed through daily or weekly digests that cover trending content from storylines, campaigns, and communities. To learn more, see Manage email with Viva Engage digests.
