Manage a flow that was created from a list template
Applies ToSharePoint in Microsoft 365 Microsoft Lists

Some list templates, such as Recruitment tracker, Content scheduler, and Work progress tracker, come with flows that are automatically created when you create a list from a template. These flows can be a bit challenging to find, depending on your familiarity with Power Automate.

Flows created from list templates are automatically placed within solutions when they’re created and are solution-aware flows. This means that they’re under Solutions on the navigation bar in Power Automate.

Note: The following steps reference a "list ID" to help identify your flow. To find the list ID, go to list settings for your list (Select Settings and then List settings) and look for the list ID in the URL for the list. It’s in the address bar of your browser among the series of numbers and letters at the end of the URL. It'll be formatted as: ?List=%7BListID%7D.

Step 1: Open the Power Automate portal from your list

Starting from the list that includes the flow you want to manage, select Integrate, select Power Automate, and then select See your flows.See your flows command on the Integrate Power Automate menu for a list The Power Automate portal opens in a new browser tab with My flows selected in the navigation.

Step 2: Find your flow under My flows

In the Power Automate portal, you should find your flow listed on the Cloud flows tab under My flows.

To make your search easier, you can sort by the Modified column of the list to bring your most recent flows to the top. The name of the flow will follow the format of: ListID – FlowName My flows in Power Automate showing a flow created from a list template

If you don't find your flow right away under My flows on the Power Automate portal, try one of these alternate methods.

Alternate Step 2 (2.1): Use the yellow banner to find your flow
