Applies ToSharePoint in Microsoft 365 Microsoft Lists

To modify automation and workflow, you can edit a flow for an existing list. If the flow that you want to edit was created from a list template, read Manage a flow that was created from a list template.

Edit a flow for a list

To edit a flow that is already attached to an existing list:

  1. Navigate to the list where you want to edit a flow.

  2. At the top of the list, from the menu bar, select Automate > Power AutomateSee your flows.

  3. Your browser opens a new tab with the Power Automate website. A listing of all of your flows appears, defaulting to My flows. If you can't find your flow, read Manage a flow that was created from a list template. 

  4. For the flow you want to edit, drag your cursor to the right of the flow name, and select  Image of the pencil icon for editing a flow.  (pencil icon).

    Tip: If you have not already signed in to Microsoft 365, you are prompted to do so.

  5. Make your changes, and then select Save.

Note: You can view all of your flows and check status on the Power Automate website at: https://flow.microsoft.com.
