Identify insights with Copilot in Excel

Select the Copilot button in the ribbon.

Select Understand.

Copilot analyzes your data to show insights as charts, PivotTables, summaries, trends, or outliers.

After Copilot has analyzed your data, review the insights to find ones that help you make the most of your data.

To add a chart to a sheet, select Add to a new sheet.

If multiple insights are available, you can add all insights to a grid in a new sheet.

To undo this, select Undo.
Got a particular question in mind?
In the Copilot prompt box describe what you’d like to know by asking a question about your data in your own words, then press Enter (or select Send ).
