​​​​​​​When you use Link to Windows with your Android in Microsoft Teams (free), your SMS text messages and contacts come together all in one place.  

  1. In Teams, go to More options Microsoft Teams more options icon next to your profile picture. ​​​​​​​

  2. ​​​​​​​Choose Settings Settings button

  3. In Settings Settings button, choose Mobile device.

  4. Select Link your phone.

  5. After the QR code appears on your desktop, scan the QR code with your phone.

After pairing is complete, you'll see your SMS text messages in your Chats under Recent. Your SMS text messages and the most recent chats from Teams are now in one place to view.  

Note: Link to Windows app is preinstalled on select mobile devices running Android 9.0 or later. For all other Android devices running Android 7.0 or later, you'll be prompted to download the Link to Windows app from the Google Play Store.
