Microsoft 365 troubleshooters
Get Help has troubleshooters for Microsoft 365 you can run for many common scenarios. These often help resolve issues without the need to contact support. If a troubleshooter is available for your issue, select Start to run that troubleshooter.
Available Microsoft 365 troubleshooters
Use the Excel check troubleshooter to resolve Excel for Windows startup, hang, or crash issues.

Follow the prompts in the Get Help window.
Important:

You need to be on Windows 10 or higher to run the troubleshooter.

You need to be on the same Windows PC as Excel to run the troubleshooter.
Use the uninstall troubleshooter to uninstall Microsoft 365, Office 2021, Office 2019, or Office 2016 from your Windows PC.

View troubleshooter results
After you run any troubleshooter, Get Help provides details on any findings and suggestions for possible remedies. If one of these resolves your problem, close the app and continue working.
