You can crop pictures, scans, or other images that you've added to OneNote for the web.

Click the picture you want to crop so the Picture Tools | Format menu appears.

Click Format, and then click Crop.

Drag the cropping handles that appear around the image. When you’re satisfied with the new dimensions, click Crop.
You can also use the Format menu to resize your pictures as needed — before or after cropping them.
