Stay in the loop with important or interesting stories with the news feature in the Microsoft SharePoint mobile app for iOS News stories are designed to display well on any device.

Reading Team News

The News tab shows the most recent articles from your sites you’re following and frequently visit along with article suggestions.

On sites with a News web part you will see the 4 most recent news posts. Tap See all to view all the news posts published in this site.

News posts are designed to display well on mobile devices. When you tap a news headline from the Sites tab or the News tab, you’ll see the full article complete with web parts, including images and embedded documents.

Add a News Post

When you see News on a site you own, select See all to add news.

  1. On the News page, tap + Add to start creating your post.

  2. Begin with adding a headline, then tap to add text, images and documents.

  3. When you have multiple items in a post, you can rearrange them before publishing. Tap, hold and drag an item to move items up or down on the page.

  4. When you are done creating your page, tap Publish at the top right, and the post will appear in the News section.

Managing Team News is currently available in SharePoint on the web only. The SharePoint mobile app allows adding a News post in SharePoint. For more information about editing or removing a News post on the web, see Keep your team updated with News on your team site
