You can perform a variety of actions on your Windows 365 Cloud PC, just like you would on your physical PC.
Direct actions to help you manage Cloud PCs
Inspecting the connection checks if your Cloud PC is ready to connect, if Windows 365 is working properly, and will try to resolve any issues detected. Your Cloud PC will be unavailable while it’s checking the connection.

Under Your Cloud PCs, select Inspect connection at the top right of the Cloud PC you’d like to inspect. A pop-up will appear.

Check the box next to Yes, I want to inspect the connection for this Cloud PC, then select Inspect connection.

Once your Cloud PC has inspected your connection you will see one of the following:

Fixed connection issues for [Name’s] Cloud PC highlighted in green - your Cloud PC will display Ready to connect at the top left.

No connection issues found for [Name’s] Cloud PC highlighted in green - your Cloud PC will display Ready to connect at the top left.

Couldn’t fix connection issues found for [Name’s] Cloud PC highlighted in red. Please use our help resources to further troubleshoot your issue.

To view your Cloud PCs details, such as OS, OS version, device name, Cloud PC name, license, and last sign-in:

Under Your Cloud PCs, select the three dots at the top right of the Cloud PC whose details you’d like to view, and then select View details. A pop-up will appear with your Cloud PCs details.
Renaming your Cloud PC is just like renaming a physical PC – it’ll change your Cloud PC name to whatever name you'd like to rename to.

Restarting your Cloud PC is just like restarting a physical PC. Any unsaved changes might be lost. Your Cloud PC will be unavailable until it’s finished restarting.

Restoring your Cloud PC is just like restoring a physical PC – it’ll return your Cloud PC to a previous point in time. Restoring a Cloud PC will permanently delete data saved to the Cloud PC and any apps installed between the restore point and now. Your Cloud PC will be unavailable until it finishes restoring.

Resetting your Cloud PC is just like resetting a physical PC – it’ll delete all data and reset any changes made on your Cloud PC. Resetting a Cloud PC will reinstall Windows 11, remove personal files and apps, reset any changes to settings, and remove any saved restore points. To avoid losing everything on this Cloud PC, use restore to return it to a previous point in time. Your Cloud PC will be unavailable until it finishes resetting.
