Outlook helps you focus on what’s most important with tools to make email organization quick and efficient.

Outlook helps keep your inbox organized the way you want it. Emails you are likely to find most important are surfaced in your Focused inbox, while others such as newsletters and advertisements are just a tab away in your Other inbox.

Outlook can let you quickly defer emails that you’d prefer to tackle at a different time. Simply set up swipe actions to schedule non-urgent message to reappear in your inbox when it is convenient for you – today, tomorrow, or next week. You can also choose options to delete, archive, flag/unflag, mark read/unread, or move emails as needed.

To make sure emails with important action items get noticed, you can use @mentions. Typing the @ symbol followed by a coworker’s name automatically highlights their name in the message body and adds them to the To line of the email. Plus, when they receive your email, the @ mentioned messages will be highlighted for the recipient, so they know it requires action. To make inbox triage even easier, you can filter messages so that only those emails that @mention you appear – or simply search for emails that @mention you.
