Next steps and support
Engage and keep learning
Stay up to date on ways to integrate existing and upcoming Microsoft EDU features in your classroom!
Engage with external Microsoft communities and learning opportunities to support your practice throughout the year:
-
Participate in follow-up training sessions and deeper learning opportunities in the Microsoft Educator Center and Microsoft Innovative Educator programs.
-
Use social media to share ideas and learn more about new updates, such as @Microsoft_Edu and @Flipgrid.
Continue connections
Support for students and their families doesn’t need to end when class does - provide additional opportunities for your students and families to continue communicating and finding resources beyond emails.
-
Use Flipgrid to create a safe space to communicate and gather further questions or information from families in your community.
-
Use Teams meetings to check in with students and their families and answer questions, discuss important topics, and provide support.
-
Create a Sway newsletter with links to resources and materials.
Equip others
Share knowledge by empowering and enlisting the most valuable resource in education - your students! Take the time to teach them the basics on how to access the tools used in instructional practice so they can support others. Finding “tech” helpers as student leaders will add more hands to help everyone.
