Improvements

This cumulative security update contains improvements that are part of update KB5037778 (released May 14, 2024). This update also makes improvements for the following issues:

  • A memory leak might occur in the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) during a Local Security Authority remote procedure call (LSARPC).

  • The Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) might crash after the April 9, 2024 security update (KB5036969) is installed.
