This security update includes improvements and fixes that were a part of update KB3205409 (released December 13, 2016), and also resolves the following vulnerabilities in Windows:

Addressed issue that leads to a read I/O latency of > 70 milliseconds when the disk commit exceeds 90%, < 16 GB commit available, and the paging file is at its maximum size. Security updates to Internet Explorer, Microsoft XML Core Services, Microsoft Graphics Component, Microsoft Windows PDF Library, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Microsoft Uniscribe, Windows kernel, Windows SMB Server, Internet Information Services, Active Directory Federation Services, Windows Hyper-V, and the Windows OS.
