There are a number of ways to remove elements from videos in Clipchamp.
How to delete a part of your video
If you want to delete parts of a video such as the last 10 seconds, try the following options:
-
use the trim tool, or
-
use the split tool, select the unwanted part of the video and then delete using the Delete key on your keyboard.
Removing the background of a video
To remove the background of your clip, try our green screen effect. It works on green, red and blue surfaces that are in a video or image.
Removing sections of the video frame
If there are elements in your original video such as an object, a face, a title or a logo that are part of the imported clip, it won't be possible to remove them at this stage.
However, depending on their position on the frame and if they are static or moving, you can place another element over them, such as a sticker, colored background or text with a solid background.
You can also crop the video to remove an unwanted element at the edge of the video frame.
