Show, hide, or favorite a channel in Microsoft Teams
Note: Many of these features are part of the public preview program and might undergo further changes before being released publicly. To get access to this and other upcoming features, switch to Teams public preview.
View your teams

Go to the bottom of your list of chats and channels.

Select either See all your teams and channels or See all your teams to see a list of your teams.
From there, you can search for a team by its name, sort teams based on certain things, or filter to only show certain teams.

Teams with hidden channels
Team type
Teams with channels shown
Membership type
Archived teams
Visibility type
Show a team's channel

From the bottom of your list of chats and channels, select See all your teams.

Select the team you're looking for.

Select Show next to the channel you'd like to show.
Tips:

Don't see these options? You can also show hidden teams by going to Teams, then selecting More channel options

To show hidden channels, after selecting the team, locate its name on the left. Beneath it, select See all channels, then select Show next to the channel you'd like to show.
Hide a channel
If you no longer want a channel to show in your list of chats and channels, hide it.

Go to the channel name and select More options

Select Hide
Hiding all of the channels in a team will also hide the team. A hidden channel will still receive @Mentions and @Tag notifications.
Tip: Find hidden channels and add them to your view by selecting See all your teams and channels.
Favorite a channel
Your list of chat and channels already includes a custom section called Favorites. Add chats and channels to your list of favorites to find them quickly.

Go to the chat or channel name and select More options

Select Show in
Tip: Don't see this option? Make channels easier to find by pinning them. To pin a channel, go to a channel name and hover over the upper-right-hand corner to select More options 
Note: The ability to create favorites is currently only available in Public Preview. If you leave public preview, you'll go back to seeing a pinned section. To see your favorites again, you'll need to re-add them after switching back into Public Preview.

Show a channel
Go to the bottom of your list of teams and channels. Tap See all teams, then tap the team the channel is in and tap the circle next to the channels you want shown. To hide, tap the circle again to deselect it.
Favorite a channel

Long-press the chat or channel name.

Select Show in
Note: The ability to create favorites is currently only available in Public Preview. If you leave public preview, you'll go back to seeing a pinned section. To see your favorites again, you'll need to re-add them after switching back into Public Preview.
