How to use macros with your Microsoft adaptive accessories
A macro is a series of actions that can happen in a single button press. Before you can start using macros with your adaptive accessories, you’ll need to set it up.
Before you begin
To set up macros, you need to install the Microsoft Accessory Center on your PC. To download it, go to Microsoft Accessory Center download.
Set up a profile
You need to choose which profile you want to use the macro with. For more info, go to How to use profiles with Microsoft Adaptive Hub.
Here’s how to set up a macro for your adaptive buttons:

Select the profile you want to use.

Select the button you want to make a macro for, then select Macro.
Creating a macro
On the macro settings page, choose the type of action you want to record. Here’s a list of what’s available:

Recording an action
Record action lets you record a series of inputs for your macro. When you’re recording a macro, all inputs from your mouse and keyboard will be saved. Here’s how to record your macro:

On the macro page, select Start to begin recording.

Enter the key presses, button clicks, and other actions you want recorded.

Select Stop to end recording.
