In the new Teams calendar, view multiple calendars at the same time for seamless coordination and scheduling.  

View calendars for people on your team to compare available time slots, know which meetings you’re both attending, and more. Select birthday or holiday calendars for effective planning.  

Note: Viewing other calendars is part of the new Teams calendar, available as part of the public preview program, and might undergo further changes before being released publicly. To get access to this and other upcoming features, switch to Teams public preview.

View other calendars

In the new calendar, select multiple different calendars to view those schedules alongside your own. 

To view other calendars: 

  1. Select Calendar  Teams Calendar tab icon in Teams.

  2. In the top left, select Show navigation pane  Close pane image.

  3. Below the mini-month view, select which calendars you want to view.

Deselect calendars to remove them from view. Save a view to easily return to it later. 

Combined and split views

When you’re looking at multiple calendars, you can choose to see them in split or combined view. 

  • In split view, each calendar appears side-by-side. Scroll horizontally to view all the selected calendars in the order they were selected.

  • In combined view, meetings and events from each calendar will be integrated in one calendar view. Each schedule will appear on the calendar in a different color to easily distinguish between them.

The calendars will appear in split view automatically. To switch between combined and split views: 

  1. Select your current view at the top of your calendar (e.g., Work week, Week, etc.).

  2. Select or deselect Split view.

Manage calendar groups

Calendar groups are a great way to organize and quickly view specific calendars. Organize calendar groups by team, project, and more. 

Create a calendar group

To create a calendar group: 

  1. Select Calendar  Teams Calendar tab icon in Teams.

  2. In the top left, select Show navigation pane Close pane image.

  3. Hover over an existing calendar.

  4. Select More options  Generic Ellipsis button > New calendar group.

  5. Enter a name for your new calendar group.

  6. Press the Enter key to save the calendar group.

    1. Press the Esc key to cancel the calendar group creation.

Add calendars to a group

To add calendars to an existing calendar group: 

  1. Select Calendar  Teams Calendar tab icon in Teams

  2. In the top left, select Show navigation pane Close pane image.

  3. Hover over the names or calendars you want to add to an existing calendar group.

    1. Select and drag their names into a calendar group.

    2. Select More options Generic Ellipsis button > Move to. Choose the group you want to move them to.

People can only belong to one calendar group at a time.

Delete a calendar group

Remove calendar groups you no longer need in the new calendar.  

To delete a calendar group: 

  1. Select Calendar  Teams Calendar tab icon in Teams.

  2. In the top left, select Show navigation pane Close pane image.

  3. Hover over the calendar you want to delete. 

  4. Select More options  Generic Ellipsis button​​​​​​​ > Delete
