You can remove sections from your notebooks using OneNote for the web with your preferred browser on a PC, Mac, or tablet.
Make sure that you really want to get rid of them — section deletions are permanent.
Important: Unlike the full-featured OneNote apps, where you can use Ctrl+Z (Windows) or ⌘+Z (Mac) to undo your last actions, deleting sections (and all of the pages they contain) in OneNote for the web is immediate and cannot be undone.
-
In OneNote for the web from your preferred browser, go to the section that you want to delete.
-
Do one the following:
-
From a PC or Mac, right-click (PC) or Control-click (Mac) the section name, and then click Delete Section.
-
From a touch-enabled device (such as an iPad or other tablet), press and hold the section name until you see a checkmark next to the section. On the bottom, tap the trash icon.
