Windows Studio Effects allow you to add the following enhancements to your camera.

Automatic framing—Keeps you centered in the frame during video calls, even if you move around, ensuring you always look professional.

Portrait light—Brightens your face during video calls, ensuring you are well-lit and clearly visible, even in poorly lit environments.

Eye contact—Adjusts your gaze on video calls to simulate eye contact, making conversations more personal and engaging.

Standard: Subtle correction to adjust your gaze on video calls to simulate eye contact.

Teleprompter: Uses advanced AI to create a more natural and lifelike eye contact experience.

Standard Blur: Blurs your background to keep the focus on you, perfect for when you have a messy room or want to maintain privacy.

To access these effects, do one of the following:

Select Studio effects in quick settings. (To open quick settings, select the battery, network, or volume icon on the taskbar.)

Select Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Camera and select your front-facing camera. Then, turn on the effect you'd like to use.
Note: On some devices, turning on camera effects may have a significant impact on performance and battery life. These include Background effects, Eye contact, and Automatic framing.
To reset an applied effect(s), do one of the following:

Select Studio effects in quick settings, then select Reset Effects.

To ensure that Windows Studio Effects is trustworthy, secure, and built responsibly, it uses models that were extensively evaluated, guided and trained by fairness testing throughout development.
In addition, the data set used by Creative filters include 3,000 hand-drawn portraits of users of various ages, genders, and races, each drawn to adhere to a style guide that was created based on a study of user preferences. For Teleprompter and Creative filters, great consideration was put into the product functionality for people with unique eye characteristics.
