How to close a video inside the video editor

Click on the three horizontal lines button to see different exiting options:

  • Click on the back to home button to return to the homepage.

  • Click on the new video button to create a new video.

  • Click on the keyboard shortcuts button to open keyboard shortcuts.

  • Click on the help button to launch the Clipchamp support page.

  • Click on the install Clipchamp app button if you would like to download the app to your device.

If you have clicked on the back to home button, you will be redirected back to the Clipchamp video editor homepage. This will close the video project you had open.

Your video project is automatically saved while you work so there is no need to save your video project before exiting. However, it is important you keep the original video, image, and audio source files (the files you added to your project) on your computer and don't delete or change them, because you may be asked to relink these files in the future.

You can reopen your video by clicking on the video preview window. Your video projects will appear under the your videos section.

How to delete a video project from your account

To delete a video in the your videos section, click on the three dots button to open video options. Next, click on the delete button to delete your video project.
