As of June 2024, the ability to connect your Google calendar in Microsoft Teams (free) will no longer be available. You can continue to access your Google calendar within Teams until then.
After June 2024, the calendar in Microsoft Teams (free) will default to the Outlook calendar associated with your account. Any new meetings created will be stored in that Outlook calendar. Also, all existing events that you created prior to June 2024 with your Google calendar synced will still be accessible through your Google calendar app.
As of June 2024, the mini Teams experience in Microsoft Teams (free) will no longer be available to those using Windows 23H2 or higher. If you're on versions of Windows below 23H2, you will continue to have the Chat signature experience available. To get the latest Windows experience, select Start > Settings > Windows Update, then select Check for updates. If updates are available, you can install them.
Important: If you signed up for Microsoft Teams (free) with a non-Outlook account, like Yahoo, Gmail, or with a phone number, your meetings will not be available in an Outlook calendar. They will only be available in the Microsoft Teams (free) calendar.
You can export your existing meetings in Microsoft Teams (free) by following the General export and delete instructions in Export or delete your data in Microsoft Teams.
