Applies ToOutlook for Microsoft 365

Last Updated: July 15, 2022

ISSUE

When launching a hosted application from the left menu (such as ToDo, Yammer, or Bookings), the content of the application is missing or cannot launch.

Hosted applications launched from the left menu within Outlook depend on the signed-in Office Account to correctly launch and display the hosted application content.

STATUS: FIXED

Microsoft has rolled out a fix for this issue. Hosted applications launched from the left menu within Outlook will now use the selected mailbox in the profile to display the hosted application content. Matching the signed-in Office Account to correctly launch and display the hosted application content is no longer a requirement. To activate the fix, you may need to restart Outlook several times.
