On your Android phone:

Toggle Block ads to on.
This blocks most ads. You may still see a few ads that Adblock Plus has determined acceptable. If you prefer to browse completely ad-free, follow these steps:

Tap the menu … > Settings > Content blockers.

Toggle Block ads to on.

Tap Advanced settings.

Toggle Allow acceptable ads to off.
On your Android phone:

Select region and language, or toggle Show my news feed off, or change your news source.

NewsGuard is a 3rd party extension that assesses websites on journalistic standards of credibility and transparency in the US. This extension is available in the Microsoft Edge app but is turned off by default. When turned on, this extension will not prevent access to sites or interrupt browsing.
To turn NewsGuard on, and see ratings for websites you visit:

Toggle Display rating on the address bar on.
On your Android phone:

Toggle Pop-ups and redirects off for blocking pop-ups, or toggle on to allow pop-ups on your device.

Toggle Clear browsing data upon exit on, or select the specific data types you’d like cleared using the checkboxes, and then tap the Clear button.

A specific page Enter a web address, use the current page you have open, or use a copied web address, and tap SAVE.
