IMPORTANT WSUS scan cab files will continue to be available for Windows Server 2008 SP2. If you have a subset of devices running this operating system without ESU, they might show as non-compliant in your patch management and compliance toolsets.

Improvements and fixes
This security update includes improvements and fixes that were a part of update KB4550951(released April 14, 2020) and addresses the following issues:

Addresses an issue that prevents certain apps from installing if they are published using a Group Policy Object.

Updates the 2020 start date for daylight saving time (DST) in the Kingdom of Morocco. For more information, see KB4557900.

Addresses an issue that causes Windows to incorrectly report the connection state of a network interface. The issue might cause software that queries the media connection state to receive a result of “Unknown” from a network interface after installing Windows updates released after February 11, 2020. This issue has been observed in the Network Access Manager component of the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.

Security updates to the Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Kernel, Windows Peripherals, Internet Information Services, Windows Active Directory, Internet Explorer, and the Microsoft JET Database Engine .
