The ink recognition capabilities in Ink Editor for Word and Ink to Text for PowerPoint support many languages for conversion, but not all languages that are supported by Office.Â
Adjust the input language in Word
In Word, in order to insert text with the caret symbol, Ink Editor must recognize your writing language. To adjust the input language to the one you want, see Change the default input language for Windows.Â
Add an Office editing language in PowerPoint
In PowerPoint, in order to for the Ink to Text feature to recognize your preferred languages, you must set the Office editing languages. See Add an editing language or set language preferences in Office.
