ISSUE

When you use Excel, it may stop responding (crash) if you're using the "3DxWare 10 for Windows" PlugIn for Microsoft Office version 10.8.7 or earlier.

STATUS: WORKAROUND

You can prevent this by downloading and installing version 10.8.8 (or later) of the “3DxWare 10 for Windows” from 3Dconnexion’s web site at https://www.3dconnexion.com/drivers.

Once have it installed, be sure to add it to Excel using the instructions found here: Add or remove add-ins in Excel.
