ISSUE
When a user selects the Contact Support option under the Outlook Help Menu and tries to submit a support ticket, they might get the error message “Failed to create customer support ticket.”
STATUS: BY DESIGN
This is expected if the user is running a version of macOS that is not supported. We currently support the three most recent major versions of macOS. If you are running an out of support macOS, please upgrade to the newest macOS available to you. For more information, please go to Upgrade macOS to continue receiving Microsoft 365 and Office for Mac updates. For information on how to update your macOS, please go to Update macOS on Mac.
This can also happen if you are running an older version of Outlook for Mac. Please make sure that you are running Outlook for Mac build 16.85.24051214 or higher. For more information, please go to Update Office for Mac automatically.
