Save screenshots to OneDrive automatically
Applies ToOneDrive (home or personal) OneDrive for Mac OneDrive for Windows

Important: This feature has now been removed from OneDrive.

To ensure your screenshots are backed up, you need to make sure your Pictures folder is part of your OneDrive. If it already is, you’re fine. If it isn’t, read Back up your folders with OneDrive to learn how.

Screenshots will still be saved to your Clipboard as before, so you can immediately paste them. They'll also be saved to the "OneDrive/Pictures/Screenshots" folder on your PC and automatically uploaded to your online storage. You can get to the folder by using File Explorer, by going to the OneDrive website, or by using the OneDrive mobile apps.
