Join the Microsoft Teams public preview program to get early access to new features and share your feedback directly with the Teams team. 

Note: If you use Teams through your work or school, your Teams administrator manages access to the Teams public preview.

Switch to the Teams public preview

  1. Select Settings and more <null> at the top-right of Teams, next to your Account manager.

  2. Select Settings > About Teams at the bottom of the menu.

  3. Under Early access, check the box next to Public preview.

Tip: If you can't access a public preview feature, quit Teams by right-clicking the Teams icon in the taskbar and choosing Quit. Open Teams again to update your experience with new public preview features.

That's all there is to it! When you're in Teams public preview, you'll see an early access indicator under Settings and more <null> > Settings > About Teams.
