Customize actions on your messages in Outlook.com
Applies ToOutlook.com

You can choose which actions will appear in the message list, at the top corner of a message you're reading, and that will appear on the message toolbar when you’re composing a message. You can add many actions, or just a few.

Some actions are selected by default, but you can clear them if you prefer.

Customize actions

  1. At the top of the page, select Settings .

  2. Select Mail > Customize actions.

  3. Go to the type of actions you want to add.

  4. Select the check boxes for the actions you want. They’ll appear in the example as you select them.

Note: The Report Abuse feature in Outlook.com is currently being rolled out, so you may not see it yet.

  5. To change the order in which they appear, select them in a different order.

  6. Select Save.
