In Outlook, you can apply a format to selected text. You can also apply a theme to format the whole message to give it a professional and modern look. A theme is a set of formatting choices that can include a color scheme (a set of colors), a font scheme (a set of heading and body text fonts), and an effects scheme (a set of lines and fill effects).

Change the text size
Select the text that you want to change, and then on the ribbon, do one of the following:

Specify a font size on the Message tab in the Basic Text group.

Specify a font size on the Format Text tab in the Font group.

Press Ctrl+Shift+> or Ctrl+Shift+<
Apply a predefined font theme
Change the fonts in your message by selecting a new font theme. A font theme applies to all of the headings and body text in the message that you are working on.

Click Options.

In the Themes group, click Fonts.
Note: If you want to change the font, colors, and effects in your message, click Themes instead of Fonts.

Under Office, click the predefined font theme that you want to use.
Create a custom font theme

Click Options

In the Themes group, click Fonts.

Click Customize Fonts.

Select the fonts and sizes that you want to use in the Heading font and Body font boxes.
The sample is updated with the fonts that you select.

In the Name box, type a name for the new font theme.

Click Save.
