How to add a transition between two or more assets

Add two or more video or image assets to the timeline directly next to each other with no gaps. You can remove gaps between assets using the gap removal feature.

Click on the transitions tab on the toolbar to access all video transitions.

Hover your curser over a transition option to preview it.

Drag and drop a video transition onto the timeline between two assets.

You can also click on the add transition button between two assets. To change from the default cross fade transition, click on the transitions tab on the property panel then select a different option.
How to remove a transition from your video

Click on a transition between two assets on the timeline so it's highlighted.

Click on the transition tab on the property panel.

Select the none option.

You can also click on the undo and redo buttons to remove an action from the timeline.
How to edit the duration of your transition

Click on a transition between two assets on the timeline so it's highlighted.

Click on the transitions tab on the property panel.

Drag the slider right to increase or left to decrease the duration of the transition. You can also input a numeric value into the duration box.
How to fade in and out of a video, image, or audio

Add your video, image, or audio asset to the timeline.

Click on the asset on the timeline so it's highlighted.

Click on the fade tab on the property panel.

Use the sliders to add a fade in or fade out to your video. Drag right to increase or drag left to decrease the length of the fade in/out.
Note: fade limits are 50% of the total duration of the item per fade in and fade out.
How to remove fades from a video, image, or audio

Click on the asset on the timeline so it's highlighted.

Click on the fade tab on the property panel.

Drag the sliders back to zero. Alternatively, change the numeric value back to zero (0).

You can also click on the undo and redo buttons to remove an action from the timeline.
