If you're a team owner, you can use email addresses to invite people from outside your organization to participate on your team.

  1. Next to your team name click More options  > Add members.

  2. Type the guest's email address, then select it when it appears as a suggestion.

  3. To change the name that shows up for the guest in Teams, click  Edit .  Type the name you want, click the check mark, and then click Add.
