Note: USB-C Earbuds are included with Surface Duo in some countries or regions, but not all.
Use for phone calls
Here’s how to use your USB-C Earbuds for phone calls:

Adjust the volume
When you're listening to music, watching videos, on a call, or playing games, use the Volume up (+) or Volume down (-) buttons to adjust the volume.

Pause music
Some music apps will let you pause them by pressing the middle button on your USB-C Earbuds.

Note: You can pause music in some music apps, but not all. It depends on the music app and whether it’s supported.
Use your default assist app to go hands free
When you have your USB-C Earbuds plugged into your Surface Duo, you can use your default assist app and your voice to get answers to questions you ask and more.
Here’s how to activate your default assist app:
