Surface Duo 2 with bumper.

The bumper has three pieces with an adhesive strip on each one. It’s designed to be attached one time.

  1. On the label 1 bumper, remove the liner from the adhesive strip on the inside of the bumper, and then attach the bumper to the left side of your Surface Duo. The bumper doesn't cover the SIM card slot on the bottom, so you can still insert or remove your SIM.

  3. On the label 3 bumper, remove the liner from the adhesive strip, then attach the piece to the lower-right corner of your Surface Duo. You can still use the Volume buttons, Fingerprint Power Button, and USB-C port when the bumper is attached.
