If you are using a free account (such as Outlook.com, Gmail, Yahoo, IMAP, POP3), you can turn off features that analyze your content or download online content. In Outlook mobile, these are the features that will turn off. Download Content:

  • FAQs (Help)

  • Rich locations

  • Calendar Apps (Facebook, Evernote, Meetup)

  • Interesting Calendars

  • Bing Maps, Google Maps, and Apple Maps

Analyze Content:

  • Rich locations

  • Suggested Replies

Notes: 

  • If you have Calendar Apps, they will be unsubscribed from your Outlook Mobile app if you turn off the Download Content setting.

  • If you are using an Outlook.com account, you will also be turning off features in other Office apps you use, as this privacy setting roams across Office. Read more about connected experiences here.
