When you want to organize a meeting for a specific scenario—like a client call, brainstorming meeting, or help desk call—meeting templates let you automatically create the experience that’s right for you. With meeting templates, the meeting options will already be set, ensuring meetings adhere to your company’s best practices and policies.
You can choose between up to 50 different meeting templates, and your IT admin will specify which custom templates are available to you. The meeting templates available by default (these are read-only and can't be updated) include webinar, protected meeting, large meeting, town hall, and virtual appointment
Templates are easily customized and managed by your organization’s IT admin. Some examples of meeting settings that can be set as defaults include:
-
Automatic meeting recordings for certain types of meetings.
-
Restricting chat and attendee camera and audio and using the Q&A feature for presentation-style meetings.
-
Stricter defaults for who can bypass the lobby, but allowing the meeting organizer to change the setting if needed.
