ISSUE

Some Outlook for Mac and Outlook for iOS users are seeing a generic @shadow.outlook.com email when they are trying to draft an email. This is due to how the Outlook app uses a cloud cache to synchronize drafts across experiences. While this doesn’t impact the email once it’s sent, users are seeing this when the email is in draft form, and it is causing confusion.

STATUS: INVESTIGATING

The Outlook team is aware of the issue, and it is currently being investigated.
