ISSUE

When you have set Microsoft Editor in new Outlook to use one or multiple languages for proofing or spellcheck feature, those settings may change unexpectedly later. You may notice that the default language has changed, for example, from English to Spanish, or another language that was added earlier in Editor’s Settings, and they may suddenly disappear, or their order of preference may change.

STATUS: INVESTIGATING

The Microsoft Editor and Outlook teams are investigating this issue for a fix. We will update this article when we have more information.

WORKAROUND

At this moment, there is no workaround for this issue. Affected users will have to reset or reconfigure language settings in Microsoft Editor as per their preference.
