If you cannot sign in to your OneDrive sync app, or the sync app says OneDrive is not connected, follow these steps to get signed in again.
Unable to sign in to OneDrive
If you see a gray OneDrive icon with a line through it, this means you are not signed in.

Select the OneDrive icon that is grayed out or has a line through it.

At the “Set up OneDrive screen”, enter your email address and password.

If you've forgotten your username or password, or can't sign in to your Microsoft personal account, use the Microsoft account sign-in helper. Sign-in helper

If you can't sign in to OneDrive work or school account, try to reset your password or alternatively, please contact your organization's IT Admin.

If you can sign in, but still cannot connect to OneDrive, check that your internet provider’s firewall is not blocking OneDrive. You may be able to do this by using your mobile device as a hotspot. Alternatively, contact your internet service provider and check they support access to Microsoft 365 products and services.
OneDrive is not connected
If you see an error message that OneDrive is not connected, you may need to restart OneDrive.

Select Windows Start or macOS Finder and search for OneDrive.
